Olympic Media Village
at +540 meters

City 540 is the lower part of the Krasnaya Polyana Olympic Media Village. It's located at 540 meters (or 1,771 feet) above sea level on the banks of the Mzymta River. This town will become home to some 2,000 journalists for the period of the 2014 Olympic Games. The town occupies 33 hectares of land, a third of which has been allocated for parks.

«City 960 is the top part of the Krasnaya Polyana Olympic Media Village. It is located at an altitude of 960 meters (or 3,150 feet) and connected to City 540 by a road and a cableway. City 960 will host about 2,000 journalists during the 2014 Olympics. The designing and construction of the town is supervised by the International Olympic Committee.

Ramp Set

This complex of sport facilities includes five ramps (K-125 and K-95 models for competitions, and K-20, K-40, and K-60 training ramps), spectator seats, roller skiing facilities, and extensive infrastructure. The ramp set will be located in the Krasnaya Polyana mountains on the northern slope of the Aibga Mountain Range, near the settlement of Esto-Sadok. The K-125 and K-95 takeoff ramps will have room for 15,000 people including 5,000 spectator seats.

Olympic Media Center

The 2014 Olympic Games auxiliary media center will be built at the altitude of 540 meters above sea level in the Krasnaya Polyana mountains. During the Games, the media center will serve as a remote office for journalists covering bobsleigh, freestyle, alpine skiing, and other competitions. Once the games are over, the media center's building will house an exhibition and the Olympic Hall of Fame.
